Digital Transformation Consultant - Facilities Management (Contract role)
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Consultant (Contract role) who understands Facilities Management, its processes, and ways of working, and who can translate these into digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have practical expertise with IBM Maximo and other FM technology platforms, and be able to advise, design, and implement digital FM solutions that optimize operations, drive efficiency, and enhance the lifecycle management. You will be expected to operate cross-functionally, working closely with client stakeholders to assess current FM practices, define digital roadmaps, and deliver solutions that uplift productivity, strengthen compliance, and improve service delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the assessment, design, and deployment of digital FM solutions, with a strong focus on IBM Maximo implementation, integration, and optimization through best a configuration which aligns with business ways of working.
- Apply FM subject matter expertise to evaluate and challenge business processes.
- Identify, document, and design clients’ digital FM systems landscape, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic needs.
- Recommend optimal digital solutions and enterprise systems architectures to support FM transformation objectives.
- Support FM clients in digital analysis, blueprint design, and roadmap development for technology adoption.
- Drive solution development, benefits realization planning, ROI evaluation, and cost estimation for FM digital initiatives.
- Provide training, knowledge transfer, and change management support to ensure adoption of digital FM systems.
YOU WILL HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Facilities Management, Engineering, IT/Systems or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management, with a proven track record in digital transformation projects.
- Hands-on expertise with IBM Maximo (configuration, deployment, and optimization); experience with other FM solutions (e.g., Planon, Archibus, SAP PM, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of FM processes: asset lifecycle, maintenance planning, service management.
- Experience in consulting and/or leading transformation projects in the FM industry.
- Familiarity with emerging FM technologies such as IoT, mobile workforce management, smart buildings, digital twins, and analytics.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and the ability to travel both locally and abroad for short-term and long-term project assignments.
- The role will be onsite in Hong Kong.
- Preference would be given to immediate starter.
