Transformation Office Analyst Job Summary
We are seeking a talented, energetic and resourceful individual who has already gained an exposure to using their commercial acumen and business navigation skills to join our internal Transformation Management Office (TMO), reporting to our Head of Strategy and Transformation with a dotted line to our CEO.
Our TMO is responsible for all transformation activities within the group, primarily for internal transformation but with touch points on client facing transformation projects. This role will have responsibility for identifying transformation opportunities and developing and implementing solutions both individually and as part of larger teams primarily internally for the Group.
You will also work on strategies for the growth of our business as well as the planning and execution thereof.
The role will be predominantly remote but will involve some travel.
Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the TMO the Transformation Analyst is responsible for providing direction and guidance to support and deliver business solutions. Experience within consulting or concept services, and international delivery is key.
Provide input on optimal solutions to meet business needs, adding value by adopting best practices, process improvements, automation, and the elimination of non value adding activities.
Develop business cases to quantify benefits, both financial and operations, for process changes
Collaborating across functions to build consensus of both opportunities and solutions
Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the company
Drive execution of action items and priorities agreed upon by the Head of Transformation.
Requirements and Skills
You have the organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, and generalist skill set to take on a wide range of high priority tasks in TMO.
Your written and verbal communication is compelling and precise. You can quickly take complex concepts and communicate them briefly, simply and persuasively. You’ve demonstrated the ability to communicate at executive or board levels, and to persuade colleagues to change.
Ability to think strategically to manage multiple projects/initiatives with changing priorities and strict deadlines in a dynamic environment is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to be entrepreneurial and a self-starter
High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, while being efficient with limited resources
Emotional intelligence and ability to establish strong and trusting relationships with colleagues. Judgment and discretion in keeping sensitive information confidential; and most importantly, have the ability and persuasive skills to sell new concepts and ideas to senior colleagues.
You’ll either have experience in a consulting firm or in a TMO or in a Private Equity firm (designing and providing strategic support for the execution of plans in investee companies). You’ll be able to demonstrate success in your career to date, especially in Transformation and / or development and execution of strategic initiatives. Ideally you will have a minimum of three years of work experience post your tertiary education qualifications.
A good business based degree is essential, post graduate qualifications would be beneficial.
